MonteNapoleone District celebrates Christmas with the launch of its latest “Christmas Shopping Experience“.
From Tuesday 1 December to Friday 7 January, for the twelfth year running, Via Montenapoleone, Verri, Sant’Andrea, Borgospesso, Bagutta, Santo Spirito and San Pietro all’Orto will be in a festive mood, decorated with alternating globes of light and glittering chandeliers to offer visitors a warm welcome and brighten their Christmas shopping.
The “Christmas Shopping Experience” gets underway at dusk on Wednesday 1 December when the Marching Band of the Lombardy Carabinieri 3rd Regiment will parade from Piazza San Babila, through the streets of the District to Piazza Croce Rossa, for the switching on of the lights on the traditional Christmas tree, a symbol of rebirth and hope.
Furthermore, QR Codes on various totems positioned along Via MonteNapoleone will enable visitors to listen free of charge to a playlist created especially for the occasion by MC2 – Radio Monte Carlo 2.
During the Christmas festivities, the Fashion District will again be an exceptional showcase for Audi, which will present some examples of Audi plug-in technology, which combines emission-free urban travel with sporting performance, increased fuel efficiency, the brand’s signature versatility and considerable advantages in terms of mobility. The long-standing partnership with the Association will see the iconic Via Montenapoleone hosting PHEV versions of the A6 Avant, the Audi Q5, the hybrid plug-in version of the world’s bestselling Q series, and the Audi Q8 full size SUV.
Acqua Valverde’s installation, a blend of dreams and reality, will enchant shoppers during the Christmas season – a white grand piano, a sophisticated, minimal Christmas tree that brightens and cheers, and a comfy armchair to enjoy the magical atmosphere of Christmas gifts, games and sweets. This year, Valverde offers the city an exclusive experience: in collaboration of the Claudio Abbado Music School, the Valverde installation will host a series of live classical music performances of pieces by famous international artists.
Lastly, antoniolupi, a company specialized in designer bathroom solutions, presents “CHRISTMAS TRALERIGHE a display case featuring the Reflex Bathtub in Cristalmood, a perfect, elegant oval with organic lines, together with two Aura sinks, also in Cristalmood, with shapes inspired by the fluidity of water. Completing the installation, the Tramato console and velvet carpets from the Tramato and Volumi collections.
MonteNapoleone District’s “Christmas Shopping Experience calendar also confirms its social awareness with a charity prize draw with proceeds going to the non-profit CBDIN, an association working in support of the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute’s Paediatric Neuropsychiatry Department.
