The first Maison in the world, located in prestigious via Sant’Andrea 15 in Milan, covers an overall surface of 1,060 sqm on two different floors in an 18th century building. The first floor of the boutique is dedicated to menswear and womenswear with two different entrances, while the second floor shows Bottega Veneta’s lifestyle, together with jewellery and interior design collections. Spacious areas combine room and privacy perfectly, ensuring an exclusive shopping experience in line with the brand’s positioning, which has always equalled understatement and sober luxury. The most distinctive design features include walls covered in suede, furniture upholstered in mohair wool with leather details, Wilton wool carpet and hidden lighting, which creates an original and three-dimensional effect. The entrance presents a terrazzo floor in light Asiago pink marble, Botticino marble and red and white arabesque Verona marble. The curved staircase is made with the same materials used on each floor, cases and details of the store’s furniture: extra clear glass, whitewood and bronze metal, together with ultrasuede and velvet. A bright palette permeating the space with hues ranging from a number of greys in the men’s section to neutral beige and pale pink in the women’s section.
